Q1. How can I check my UPSESSB UP PGT 2022 final result if I have lost my roll number?

You can still check the result by opening the scorecard login page at upessc.net/pgt2022results/Login.aspx. Enter your registration number and date of birth in place of the roll number. Many candidates remember their registration number from the application slip. If both numbers are missing, contact the board office with your application form copy and photo ID. The board helpdesk can trace your record from the application database.

Q2. What is the minimum qualifying mark for the UP PGT written examination?

The board fixes a subject wise minimum qualifying mark in the official notice. General category candidates usually need higher marks than reserved category candidates. The exact qualifying score is printed in the result notice and the cut off PDF. Candidates who score below the qualifying mark are not placed in the merit list. Always check the subject wise cut off before assuming your position.

Q3. Can I apply for re-checking or re-evaluation of my UP PGT answer sheet?

The board generally allows a challenge window only at the answer key stage, not after the final result. Objections raised during the answer key window were examined by subject experts. Once the final result is declared, re-checking of the OMR sheet is not permitted. You may file a representation only for a genuine technical error such as a wrong roll number entry. Such requests must reach the board within the time limit mentioned in the notice.

Q4. How do I download the UP PGT 2022 subject wise scorecard?

Visit the scorecard login page at upessc.net/pgt2022results/Login.aspx. Fill in your registration number, roll number and date of birth. Click submit and your subject wise marks will appear on the screen. Download the PDF and keep two printed copies. The scorecard carries your paper wise marks and total score for the interview stage.

Q5. What is the UP PGT waiting list and how does it work?

The board released the waiting list on 26 August 2026 for every subject. Candidates on this list are placed after the main merit list candidates. If a selected teacher does not join or resigns later, the next waiting candidate gets the chance. Waiting list validity depends on the board's rules and the number of vacant seats. Keep checking upessc.up.gov.in for fresh waiting list updates.

Q6. Is there an interview stage in this recruitment and what weightage does it carry?

Yes, the interview was held from 15 to 27 June 2026 for shortlisted candidates. Interview letters were issued on 5 June 2026 through the online login portal. The interview carries weightage as fixed in the recruitment rules. Final merit is prepared by adding written marks and interview marks together.

Q7. What documents will I need at the document verification stage?

Carry your Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, graduation and post graduation certificates. Bring the B.Ed or equivalent training certificate and your TET certificate. Caste, EWS or PwD certificates must be in the prescribed format. Also bring recent photographs and a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar or PAN. Originals plus one self attested photocopy set of every document is advised.

Q8. Where can I download the UP PGT 2022 subject wise cut off marks?

The cut off PDF is hosted on the official portal at upessc.up.gov.in. It was released along with the final result notice on 7 July 2026. The file lists the last rank and minimum marks for each subject and category. Downloads are free and no login is needed for the cut off file. Save a copy for your own records.
