Q1. When was the SSC CHSL 10+2 Final Result 2026 declared?

The Staff Selection Commission declared the final result on 07 October 2026. The FRTA result came out earlier on 17 August 2026. Both files sit on the official portal. You can download the merit list PDF from ssc.gov.in. The Tier II exam behind this result was held on 10 April 2026.

Q2. How many candidates have been shortlisted in the SSC CHSL final result?

Around 3,515 candidates have been provisionally recommended for document and identity verification. The total vacancy count for this drive is 3,522 posts. Out of 13,395 Tier II candidates, only these names appear in the FRTA list. Final allotment depends on your option cum preference form. Post wise and category wise cut offs are printed in the result write-up.

Q3. My roll number is not in the PDF. Can I still check my scorecard?

Yes, you can. The scorecard is separate from the merit list. Visit ssc.gov.in and click the login link on the home page. Enter your registration ID and password to open your dashboard. Your Tier II marks appear there. If you forgot the roll number, use the forgot password option. A fresh password reaches your registered mobile number and email.

Q4. What is the minimum qualifying mark for SSC CHSL Tier I and Tier II?

Section wise minimum marks apply in both tiers. Unreserved candidates must score at least 30 percent in each section. OBC and EWS candidates need 25 percent. SC, ST and PwD candidates need 20 percent. On top of that, a category wise cut off decides shortlisting. Cut offs change every year with paper difficulty and vacancy count.

Q5. Is there any re-checking or re-evaluation facility after the final result?

No, the commission does not offer re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets. Answer keys are published first and objections are invited within a fixed window. After that, the final answer key is frozen. The result built on that key is treated as final. Candidates cannot request a manual recount of marks at any stage.

Q6. What happens after the SSC CHSL final result is declared?

Shortlisted candidates move to document and identity verification. Successful candidates then receive posting based on the option cum preference form. Departments allot LDC, JSA, PA, SA or DEO posts as per merit and vacancy. Medical fitness is checked before joining. Appointment letters follow the verification stage. Keep your mobile number active for updates.

Q7. Which documents should I carry for SSC CHSL document verification?

Carry your Class 10 and Class 12 original certificates. Bring the caste, EWS or PwD certificate if you claimed any relaxation. Keep a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID or Passport. Two recent passport size photographs are needed. Do not forget the printed application form and fee receipt. One set of self attested photocopies helps speed up the process.

Q8. What is the age limit and educational requirement for this recruitment?

You must be between 18 and 27 years of age as on 01 January 2026. OBC candidates get 3 years of upper age relaxation. SC and ST candidates get 5 years. PwD candidates get 10 to 15 years as per rules. A 10+2 pass certificate from a recognised board is the basic requirement. DEO posts may also need Mathematics as a subject.
