Q1. How can I check the UPPSC Computer Assistant Typing Test Result 2026?

Visit the official UPPSC portal at uppsc.up.nic.in and open the View Result section. Look for the Computer Assistant Typing Test Result link under Advt No A-4/E-1/2025. Enter your registration number, roll number, and date of birth. Type the verification code shown and click Proceed. Your qualifying status then appears on the screen. You can save it as a PDF for your records.

Q2. What should I do if I lost my roll number or registration number?

Do not worry, because there is a simple way out. Open the UPPSC login page and select the Forgot Registration Number option. Enter your name, father name, and date of birth exactly as given in the application form. The system will send your registration number to your registered mobile number and email ID. You can then check the result normally. If nothing works, contact the UPPSC helpdesk with your application printout.

Q3. What are the minimum qualifying marks for the UPPSC Computer Assistant typing test?

The commission fixes the qualifying standard for each stage. General category candidates usually need the highest score, while reserved categories get some concession. The exact qualifying marks and cut off are printed in the official result notice. Only candidates who clear this bar move ahead. Please check the result PDF for the category wise cutoff.

Q4. Is there any negative marking in the UPPSC Computer Assistant exam?

Yes, the UPPSC written paper carries a penalty for wrong answers. One third of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for each incorrect response. Questions left blank carry no penalty. This rule applies to the objective paper only. The typing test is a qualifying skill check and is scored differently.

Q5. Can I request re-checking or re-evaluation of my typing test result?

No, the commission does not accept re-checking or re-evaluation requests for the typing test. The skill test is evaluated by a computer based system, so scores stay final. You can only raise a query if there is a clear technical error on the commission side. All such requests must reach UPPSC within the timeline given in the notice.

Q6. What happens after the typing test result is declared?

Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification. You must carry all original certificates along with self attested photocopies. The commission then publishes the final merit list and the category wise cutoff. Selected candidates receive appointment letters for the Computer Assistant post. Keep checking uppsc.up.nic.in for every update.

Q7. Which documents do I need to carry for UPPSC document verification?

Carry your Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet, and the O Level or Computer Science diploma certificate. Keep caste, EWS, or PwD certificates ready if you claimed any relaxation. Bring a photo identity proof such as Aadhaar, PAN, or Voter ID. Also carry the printed application form, fee receipt, and recent photographs. Missing papers can cancel your candidature on the spot.

Q8. Is the application fee refundable if my name is not on the result list?

No, the application fee is never refunded by the commission. The fee only covers the cost of processing your form and conducting the examination. Whether you clear the test or not, the amount stays with UPPSC. Candidates should treat it as a non refundable charge. General and OBC applicants paid Rs 125, while SC, ST, and PH candidates paid a reduced amount.
