Q1. How can I check my SBI Apprentice Result 2026 if I lost my roll number?

You do not need a roll number to open the result PDF. The file lists candidates with registration numbers and names side by side. Use Ctrl+F and search your full name in the document. If many names match, check the category and state columns for confirmation. You can also log in to the IBPS registration portal with your registration number and password. The portal keeps your exam history and scorecard safe. If nothing works, write to the SBI CRPD helpdesk with your application printout. Keep your registration number and date of birth handy at all times.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks in the SBI Apprentice written exam?

SBI decides the minimum qualifying marks for the objective test on its own. The bank fixes state wise and category wise cut offs. General candidates usually need higher marks than reserved category candidates. You must also clear the test of the local language of your state. Final merit is built from written test marks alone. Cut offs shift every year with paper difficulty and vacancy numbers. Check the official cut off PDF once the bank uploads it. There is no fixed pass mark published in advance.

Q3. Is there any re-checking or re-evaluation facility for the SBI Apprentice exam?

No. SBI does not allow re-checking or re-evaluation of the apprentice written test. The recorded response sheet is treated as final and binding. You can view your answers only if the bank releases a response sheet link. Any objection must be raised inside the window given by the bank. Once that window closes, no request is accepted. Always download and save your scorecard right after the result. Keep a soft copy on your email as a backup.

Q4. What happens after the SBI Apprentice result is declared?

Shortlisted candidates move to the document verification stage. You must carry every original certificate plus one photocopy set. The bank then conducts a basic medical fitness test. Selected candidates get an engagement letter for one year of training. Training takes place at a branch or office in your allotted state. A monthly stipend is paid during the apprenticeship period. There is no permanent job guarantee once the training ends.

Q5. How do I download the SBI Apprentice scorecard and cut off marks?

Visit the SBI careers page and click the apprentice result link. The scorecard link sits right next to the result notice. Log in with your registration number, roll number and date of birth. Your section wise marks and total marks appear on the screen. Download the PDF and take a printout for your records. Cut off marks are published in a separate PDF on the same page. Save both files on your phone and laptop. Do not share your login details with anyone.

Q6. How is the SBI Apprentice merit list prepared?

The merit list is made from written test marks only. There is no interview stage in this recruitment. The bank prepares separate lists for each state and each category. Candidates who clear the local language test are added to the final list. Ties are broken using date of birth and then name order. The list stays valid for the current recruitment year. Unfilled seats may be carried forward to the next cycle. Your rank decides the state and branch allotment.

Q7. Is there an interview round in the SBI Apprentice selection?

No. There is no interview or group discussion in this recruitment. Selection depends on the online written test and the local language test. Document verification and a medical check follow for shortlisted candidates. So you do not need to prepare for a personal interview. Focus on your original certificates and language skills instead. Keep your communication address and mobile number updated on the portal.

Q8. Which documents should I carry for SBI Apprentice document verification?

Carry your Class 10 marksheet and certificate for date of birth proof. Keep your graduation degree and all marksheets in original. Bring a valid photo identity like Aadhaar, PAN or Passport. Add your caste or EWS certificate if you claimed a reservation. Include the disability certificate for PwD claims. Carry two recent passport photos and the printed application form. Self attest one photocopy set of every document. Missing papers can lead to cancellation of your candidature.
