Q1. How can I check my RRB Group D result if I have lost my registration number?

You can still recover your login details from the scorecard portal. Open rrb.digialm.com and click on the forgot registration number link. Enter your registered mobile number, email ID, and date of birth. The system will send your registration number by SMS or email. If the recovery option fails, contact your regional RRB helpdesk with your application printout, Aadhaar card, and Class 10 certificate. The helpdesk can trace your record using your name and date of birth. Keep a screenshot of every step for your own safety.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks in the RRB Group D CBT?

The Railway Recruitment Board fixes a minimum qualifying percentage for every category. General category candidates must score the highest threshold, while OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen get a lower bar as per Railway norms. Only candidates who cross this qualifying score move ahead in the merit list. The exact qualifying percentage for CEN 08/2024 is printed in the official result notice and cut off PDF. Your scorecard shows both raw and normalised marks, so compare the normalised figure with the cut off.

Q3. Can I request re-checking or re-evaluation of my RRB Group D scorecard?

No, there is no provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of the CBT scorecard. The Railway Recruitment Board does not accept requests for manual totalling or answer sheet review after the final answer key is frozen. However, the objection window on the provisional answer key was a genuine chance to challenge wrong questions. Once that window closed and the final key was published, the score became final. Any request for re-checking sent by email or post will not be entertained by any zone.

Q4. What happens after the RRB Group D result is declared?

Shortlisted candidates are called for the Physical Efficiency Test zone wise. The PET is qualifying in nature and carries no marks. Male candidates must lift and carry 35 kg for 100 metres in 2 minutes and run 1000 metres in 4 minutes 15 seconds. Female candidates must lift and carry 20 kg for 100 metres in 2 minutes and run 1000 metres in 5 minutes 40 seconds. Candidates who clear PET then face document verification. A medical examination follows for the final fitness check.

Q5. Is the scorecard the same as the zone wise merit list?

No, these are two separate documents. The scorecard is a personal login based file that shows your own normalised marks, category, and roll number. The merit list is a public PDF released on each regional RRB website. It lists roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the PET stage. The merit list does not show individual marks. You need both files for your records. Use the scorecard to check your score and the merit list to confirm your shortlisting status.

Q6. Do I need to carry the scorecard to the PET and document verification?

Yes, carry a printed copy of your scorecard along with the PET call letter. You must also bring the online application form printout, fee receipt, and all original certificates. A clear set of self attested photocopies is required for the file. Carry a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Passport. Passport size photographs, matching the one uploaded during application, are also needed. Missing documents can lead to rejection on the spot.

Q7. Can candidates from one zone appear for the PET in another zone?

No, the PET is conducted by the zone that shortlisted you. Your examination city and PET centre are allotted by that same regional board. Requests for a zone change are not accepted at the PET stage. If you face a genuine hardship, submit a written request to your regional RRB with supporting proof. The board may consider it only in rare cases. Always travel to the allotted centre on the given date with all documents ready.

Q8. How long is the RRB Group D result and scorecard valid?

The result and scorecard remain valid for the current CEN 08/2024 recruitment cycle only. They cannot be used for any other Railway recruitment or future CEN notifications. The merit list stays active until the entire selection process, including medical and joining, is completed. Candidates on the reserve panel may get a call if vacancies remain after the main list. Keep your documents updated, since the validity of your candidature depends on them. Always download fresh copies from the official portal.
