Q1. What is the eligibility for RRB NTPC Graduate Level CEN 06/2026?

You must hold a Bachelor Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India. There is no minimum percentage bar and no fixed subject stream. For Senior Clerk cum Typist and Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi is also required.

Q2. Can final year degree students apply for this recruitment?

No. Your degree result must be declared and the passing certificate must exist on or before the closing date of 06 November 2026. Final year students who are still awaiting results cannot apply, because the portal asks for degree details and year of passing. Keep your original marksheet ready for document verification.

Q3. What is the age limit and how is it calculated?

The age band is 18 to 33 years as on 01 January 2027. OBC candidates get 3 years of upper age relaxation, while SC and ST candidates get 5 years. PwBD candidates get 10 years, which rises to 15 years for SC and ST applicants. Ex-Servicemen get relaxation as per railway rules.

Q4. What is the exam pattern and is there a negative marking?

CBT 1 carries 100 questions for 100 marks in 90 minutes. CBT 2 carries 120 questions for 120 marks in 90 minutes. Both papers cover General Awareness, Mathematics and General Intelligence and Reasoning. One third of a mark is cut for every wrong answer, so guesswork carries real risk.

Q5. How much is the application fee and who pays nothing?

General, OBC and EWS candidates pay Rs. 500. SC, ST, PH and all female candidates pay Rs. 250. After you appear in the CBT 1 exam, Rs. 400 is refunded to General category applicants and Rs. 250 is refunded to reserved category and female applicants. So the net cost is Rs. 100 or zero.

Q6. Is there an application correction window?

Yes. The correction window stays open from 09 November to 18 November 2026. You can edit limited fields such as address, qualification details and photo during this period. Post wise and RRB wise choices usually cannot be changed, so fill them with full care during registration.

Q8. Can I apply to more than one RRB for these 3548 posts?

No. You can select only one Railway Recruitment Board while filling the form. Submitting more than one application under CEN 06/2026 leads to rejection of all your forms. Choose the RRB that matches your preferred working zone and then complete the single application carefully.
