Q1. When was the MPPSC State Service Prelims result 2026 declared?

The Commission declared the State Service Preliminary Exam result on 22 May 2026. The exam was held on 26 April 2026 across multiple centres in Madhya Pradesh. The result PDF lists the roll numbers of candidates who cleared the screening stage. You should download the file from mppsc.mp.gov.in and keep a printed copy. Shortlisted candidates are now eligible for the Mains stage.

Q2. How can I check my MPPSC SSE pre result 2026 online?

Visit the official portal and look for the Results section on the home page. Click the State Service Preliminary Examination Result 2026 link. A PDF file will open with the list of qualified roll numbers. Use the search option inside the PDF to find your roll number quickly. Save the file and take a printout for the next stage.

Q3. What should I do if I lose my roll number or registration ID?

You can recover your roll number from the admit card copy saved during the exam. Check the registered email and SMS alerts sent by the Commission at the time of hall ticket release. The MPPSC portal also allows login with the registered mobile number for basic details. Contact the Commission helpdesk with your application number if nothing works. Keep the acknowledgement page safe for all future stages.

Q4. What are the minimum qualifying marks in the MPPSC prelims exam?

The prelims stage is screening in nature and shortlisting depends on merit. The Commission calls candidates for Mains in a ratio fixed under the recruitment rules. Category wise cut off marks are printed in the official result notice. Candidates from reserved categories get relaxation in the qualifying cut off as per state policy. Final merit is built from Mains and interview marks only.

Q5. Can I apply for re-checking or re-totalling of my scorecard?

There is no re-checking or re-totalling facility for the MPPSC prelims exam. The Commission only accepts objections against the provisional answer key. That objection window ran from 27 April to 1 May 2026. No request is entertained after the closing date. The final answer key is published after every valid objection is examined.

Q6. Is there any age relaxation for reserved category candidates of Madhya Pradesh?

Yes. Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates of reserved categories get upper age relaxation as per state rules. OBC candidates receive 3 years and SC or ST candidates receive 5 years. PwD candidates get 10 years of relaxation under government norms. The cut off date for age calculation is 1 January 2026. The age shown on the Class 10 marksheet is treated as final.

Q7. What happens after the prelims result is declared?

Shortlisted candidates move to the Mains written exam stage. The Mains exam is scheduled from 7 September 2026 to 12 September 2026. Admit cards are released on the official portal before the exam. Candidates who clear Mains are called for the interview round. Final selection follows document verification and medical fitness checks.

Q8. Which documents are needed at the Mains and interview stage?

Carry your Class 10 marksheet, degree certificates and marksheets in original. Reserved category candidates must bring a valid caste, EWS or PwD certificate. A Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate is needed for state level age relaxation. Keep the Mains admit card and photo identity proof handy. Two recent passport size photographs are also required at the venue.
