Q1. How can I check my HTET result if I lost my roll number?

If you lost your roll number, you can still check your result. Visit the official HTET portal at htet.eapplynow.com. Look for the 'Forgot Roll Number' link on the login page. Enter your registered mobile number and date of birth. The system will send your roll number via SMS or email. You can then use it to download your scorecard. Alternatively, contact the BSEH helpline for assistance.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks for HTET 2025-26?

General category candidates need at least 60% marks to qualify. That means 90 out of 150 marks. SC, ST, and PwD candidates need 55% marks, which is 82 out of 150. There is no negative marking, so attempt all questions. The qualifying status appears on your scorecard. You must secure these marks in a single attempt.

Q3. Can I apply for re-checking or re-evaluation of my HTET result?

BSEH does not offer a re-checking or re-evaluation facility for HTET. The answer key is released before the result. You can raise objections against the answer key within the given window. After the final answer key is published, the result is prepared. No further changes are allowed. If you find a discrepancy, contact the board immediately.

Q4. What is the next stage after qualifying HTET?

Qualifying HTET does not guarantee a teaching job. It makes you eligible to apply for teacher recruitment in Haryana. You need to appear for separate recruitment exams conducted by HSSC or other authorities. These exams include interviews and document verification. Your HTET scorecard is valid for a lifetime. Keep it safe for future applications.

Q5. Is the HTET certificate valid for a lifetime?

Yes, the HTET certificate is valid for a lifetime. Earlier, it was valid for 7 years. But as per the latest rules, the certificate never expires. You can use it for all future teacher recruitments in Haryana. The e-certificate is available for download on the official portal. You should download and save it securely.

Q6. How can I download my HTET OMR sheet?

The HTET OMR sheet was released on 1 September 2026. Visit the official portal at htet.eapplynow.com. Click on the 'Download OMR Sheet' link. Enter your roll number, date of birth, and security code. Your OMR sheet will appear on the screen. Download and save the PDF file. You can verify your answers with the final answer key.

Q7. What is the difference between HTET result and scorecard?

The result shows your qualifying status, which is pass or fail. The scorecard shows your marks and section-wise performance. Both are available on the official website. You need the scorecard for teacher recruitment applications. The e-certificate is also available for download. The result was declared on 5 August 2026, and the scorecard came on 22 August 2026.
