Q1. How can I check the HPSC PGT Computer Science Final Result 2026?

Visit the official website at hpsc.gov.in and open the Results section. Search for the PGT Computer Science link under Advt 23/2026. The PDF opens with a list of qualified roll numbers. Press Ctrl + F and type your roll number to find your row. Download the file and keep a copy safe for later use.

Q2. I lost my roll number. Can I still check my result?

Yes, you can check your result without the roll number in most cases. The final PDF lists roll numbers in serial order along with candidate names. You can also log in at regn.hpsc.gov.in/pgt26cs/site/login using your registration number. If nothing works, contact the HPSC helpdesk with your application details. Carry your admit card copy as supporting proof.

Q3. What are the minimum qualifying marks for this exam?

HPSC fixes qualifying marks in the official notification for each category. General category candidates usually need higher marks than reserved category candidates. The result PDF carries category wise cut off marks for transparency. Check the final result notice for the exact figures. There is no separate interview round in this recruitment.

Q4. Is there any provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of the answer sheet?

Recruitment exams of this kind normally do not allow re-checking or re-evaluation. The commission treats the final answer key as the last word. Candidates can raise objections only during the answer key window. After that period, no representation on marks is entertained. Read the notification for the exact rule on this point.

Q5. What happens after the HPSC PGT Computer Science final result?

Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification at the commission office. Original certificates are matched against the online application form. Any mismatch can lead to cancellation of candidature. After successful verification, the commission recommends candidates for appointment. Appointment letters are then issued by the school education department.

Q6. Which documents must I carry for HPSC document verification?

Carry your Class 10 certificate for date of birth proof. Bring your M.Sc, MCA or B.Tech marksheets and degree certificates. Add your valid HTET or STET card and B.Ed certificate if applicable. Keep your Haryana domicile and caste certificate ready. Also carry photo identity proof and recent passport size photographs.

Q7. Does the HTET or STET certificate expire?

HTET and STET certificates stay valid for a fixed period under state rules. Check the validity date printed on your certificate right now. An expired certificate will not be accepted at document verification. Apply for a fresh test if your certificate has lapsed. Keep a valid certificate ready before your DV reporting date.

Q8. Is the HPSC PGT Computer Science final result provisional?

Yes, commission results are provisional in nature until final verification. Candidature can be cancelled if any claim turns out false. Wrong details in the application form may lead to disqualification. The commission checks every document before issuing a recommendation. Keep your original papers ready and accurate at all times.
