Q1. How can I check the CBSE Class 12th supplementary result if I lost my roll number?

You can still check your result without the roll number in most cases. Open the CBSE result page or the DigiLocker portal. Look for the search by name option where it is available. Some servers ask for your mother's and father's name instead. Your school can also share the roll number from the admit card copy. Class teachers keep the board registration list for every student. Visit the school office with your class and section details. They will confirm the exact roll number within a day or two.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks to pass the CBSE Board exam?

CBSE requires 33 percent marks in each subject to pass. You also need 33 percent overall in the five main subjects. Both language papers must be cleared for a valid Class 10 pass. Practical and internal marks are added to the theory score. Failing one subject usually means a compartment exam. Clear that paper and your result turns into a full pass. There is no grace mark policy for regular candidates now.

Q3. Can I apply for re-checking or re-evaluation after the result is declared?

Yes, you can apply for verification of marks after the result. The window stays open for a few days on the CBSE portal. You may then request a photocopy of your evaluated answer book. Re-evaluation comes last and covers theory papers only. Marks can increase after re-checking, or they may stay the same. Always keep the fee receipt and application number safe. Late requests are rejected without any refund.

Q4. What happens after the compartment or supplementary result is declared?

Your marksheet shows the improved score in the compartment subject. A pass in that paper clears the board exam completely. CBSE then issues a fresh digital marksheet on DigiLocker. The printed certificate reaches your school a few weeks later. Check every subject line for printing mistakes. Report any error to the school within the given time. Keep both the digital and printed copies ready for admission work.

Q5. Is there any fee to check the CBSE result or download the marksheet?

No, result checking is completely free for all students. DigiLocker download of marksheets and migration costs nothing. Only re-evaluation and verification forms carry a small fee. The compartment exam fee is announced in the official notice. Pay it online through net banking, UPI, or a debit card. Keep the payment receipt for your own records. Nobody should ask for money to show your result.

Q6. How do I activate my DigiLocker account with the school security PIN?

Open the CBSE DigiLocker activation link on the official portal. Select your class, either X or XII, from the list. Enter your school code and board roll number correctly. Type the six digit PIN shared by your school. Add your mobile number and wait for the OTP. Submit the OTP to finish the confirmation process. Your account then holds the result, marksheet, and migration records.

Q7. What details are printed on the CBSE digital marksheet?

The digital marksheet lists your name and roll number clearly. Subject-wise theory and practical marks appear in separate columns. Grades and the overall CGPA are printed for each subject. The document carries a QR code and a digital signature. It is valid for college admission and government job applications. Download a fresh copy from DigiLocker whenever you need one.

Q8. Will I get an original printed marksheet after the result?

You will receive the original marksheet from your school. CBSE sends printed certificates to the school after the result. Collect it from the school office and carry your admit card. Keep it safe for future admissions and document verification. The DigiLocker copy works for most online processes. Original documents are still needed for physical verification at offices.
