Q1. How can I check my BTSC Staff Nurse result if I lost my roll number?

You can log in with your registered mobile number and password instead of the roll number. The portal also hosts a direct merit list PDF. Open that file and search your name or registration number with Ctrl+F. If both routes fail, contact the BTSC helpdesk with your application number and date of birth.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks in the BTSC Staff Nurse CBT?

The Commission fixes a category wise cut off after every recruitment cycle. General category candidates usually need a higher score than reserved category applicants. No fixed pass percentage is announced in advance. Crossing the cut off for your own category is enough to enter the merit list.

Q3. Is there any provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of the scorecard?

BTSC follows a strict answer key process before declaring any result. Objections against the provisional answer key were invited at an earlier stage. Once the final result is out, no re-checking or re-evaluation request is accepted. Objective OMR evaluation leaves very little room for error.

Q4. What happens after the BTSC Staff Nurse final result is declared?

Shortlisted candidates move to the document verification round. Original certificates, nursing council registration and category papers are checked there. A medical fitness test follows that stage. The Health Department then issues appointment letters. Keep your registered mobile number and email active for updates.

Q5. Is State Nursing Council registration compulsory for the Staff Nurse post?

Yes. Council registration is compulsory for every selected candidate. The rule applies without exception. Candidates registered with any recognised state nursing council can apply. Arrange a valid registration certificate well before the verification date.

Q6. How is the age limit calculated and what relaxation applies?

Age is counted as on 1 August 2025. The minimum age is 21 years. Male candidates can be up to 37 years old. Women candidates get a higher ceiling of 40 years. OBC and EBC applicants get 3 years of relaxation. SC and ST candidates get 5 years. PwD applicants get 10 to 15 years.

Q7. How much is the application fee and who pays a lower amount?

General, OBC and EWS applicants paid Rs 600. SC, ST and PH applicants paid Rs 150 only. The fee was accepted online through debit card, credit card, net banking and UPI. No offline payment mode was allowed. Submitted fees are never refunded or adjusted.

Q8. What documents do I need for BTSC Staff Nurse document verification?

Carry your Class 10 certificate, nursing degree or diploma, and council registration. Add caste, EWS or PwD certificates if you claimed reservation. A photo identity proof, passport photographs and the printed application form are also needed. Bring originals plus one set of self attested photocopies.
