Q1. When was the UPSSSC UPPCB mains answer key released?

The commission hosted the provisional answer key on 1 July 2026, just two days after the mains paper. The mains examination took place on 29 June 2026 for all 115 posts. Post wise key downloads were also opened on the portal from 17 September 2026. You can grab the PDF from the official UPSSSC website.

Q2. How do I raise an objection against a wrong answer in the key?

The objection link for the 29 June 2026 mains paper is live on the dedicated page. Open that link, pick your paper set and question number, then upload supporting proof. Pay the prescribed objection charge per question if the notice asks for it. The commission reviews every claim and then publishes the final key.

Q3. What is the application fee for Advt No 02-Exam/2026?

Every candidate paid a flat Rs 25 as the application fee. General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and Divyang applicants all paid the same amount. Women applicants were not exempt either. Payment was accepted through SBI I Collect mode or an e-Challan.

Q4. What is the age limit for these 115 posts?

The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum is 40 years as on 1 July 2026. Upper age relaxation applies for reserved categories as per UPSSSC rules. OBC candidates usually get 3 extra years, while SC and ST get 5 years. Divyang applicants get relaxation in the 10 to 15 year range.

Laboratory and Monitoring Assistant posts accept a 10+2 Intermediate pass with Science. Accountant posts need B.Com plus one year of experience. Law Assistant posts need an LLB with three years of practice or desk experience. A valid UPSSSC PET 2025 score card is compulsory for every post.

Yes, the commission allowed form corrections until 6 May 2026. You could edit personal details, qualification entries, and category claims during that window. No changes are allowed after the correction deadline. Always preview the form before you submit it finally.

Q7. Is there negative marking in the mains examination?

The mains paper was objective and OMR based. Questions came in both Hindi and English. Negative marking applies only as per the rules printed in the official notice. Check the information bulletin to confirm the marking scheme for your post.
