Q1. What educational qualification is required for UPSSSC BCG Technician Recruitment 2024?

You need a 10+2 Intermediate pass with the Science stream from a recognized board. A two year Tuberculosis TB Program Management Diploma is also compulsory. Registration with the Homeopathic Medicine Board is mandatory. On top of that, a valid UPSSSC PET 2023 score card is required for every candidate. Candidates who lack any one of these conditions are not eligible for the post. Always match your certificates with the official notification before applying.

Q2. What is the UPSSSC BCG Technician age limit and how is it calculated?

The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years. This is calculated strictly as on 1 July 2024 under Advertisement No. 10-Exam/2024. OBC candidates receive 3 years of upper age relaxation. SC and ST candidates receive 5 years. PwD candidates get 10 to 15 years depending on the category. Ex-Servicemen get relaxation as per government norms.

Q3. Is there any application fee exemption for SC, ST, women or Divyang candidates?

No. Every category paid a flat fee of Rs 25/- for this recruitment. General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST and PH (Divyang) applicants all paid the same amount. There was no concession for women candidates either. The fee was accepted through State Bank of India I Collect mode or through an E Challan. Unpaid forms were treated as rejected.

Q4. When was the UPSSSC BCG Technician final answer key released and where can I check it?

The commission published the final answer key on 20 August 2026. You can download it from the official website upsssc.gov.in. Open the answer key section and log in with your registration number and date of birth. The direct download link is also placed in the Useful Important Links table above. The provisional key had come out earlier on 01 July 2026.

Q5. Can I still raise an objection against the UPSSSC BCG Technician answer key?

No. The objection window has already closed. Objections were accepted only against the provisional key through the dedicated answer objections portal. Each objection needed documentary proof from a standard source. The commission then reviewed every claim and locked the final key. The final answer key is now the only valid version for score calculation.

Q6. What is the selection process for UPSSSC BCG Technician Main Examination 2024?

Selection starts with an eligibility screening of PET 2023 scores and diploma certificates. Eligible candidates then appear for the main written examination held on 30 June 2026. The paper carries objective multiple choice questions. Shortlisted candidates move to document verification. A basic medical fitness check follows. There is no interview stage in this recruitment.

Carry your Class 10 marksheet and certificate for date of birth proof. Bring the 10+2 Intermediate marksheet with the Science stream. Keep the Tuberculosis TB Program Management Diploma certificate handy. Add your Homeopathic Medicine Board registration certificate and PET 2023 score card. Also carry caste, EWS or PwD certificates and a valid photo identity proof. Originals plus photocopies are required.
