Q1. How do I check the UPSC CAPF AC 2025 final result online?

Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in and open the What's New section. Look for the CAPF Assistant Commandant final result link. The merit list opens as a PDF file. Press Ctrl and F together and type your roll number. If your number is present, you have been recommended. Download the file and keep a printed copy for the joining process.

Q2. I lost my roll number. Can I still check the CAPF final result and my marks?

Yes, you can still check the outcome. The merit list PDF is public, so no login is needed to view it. You can search the file using your full name instead of the roll number. Your admit card or the registration email also carries the roll number. For individual marks, log in to the UPSC online portal with your registration ID and date of birth. UPSC keeps the scorecard link active for a limited time, so download it early.

Q3. What are the minimum qualifying marks in the UPSC CAPF AC exam?

The Commission fixes category wise minimum qualifying marks for each paper. You must clear these marks to move to the next stage. The final cut off for 2025 was 285 for General and 292 for OBC out of 600. EWS stood at 282, SC at 265 and ST at 260. The Ex-Servicemen cut off was 125. These figures combine the written score with the interview score.

Q4. How many candidates were recommended and what is the reserve list?

A total of 350 candidates were recommended for 357 Assistant Commandant posts. The reserve list carries 164 names ranked below the last recommended candidate. Reserve list candidates are considered if any recommended candidate is found unfit or declines the offer. The list stays valid as per the rules laid down by the Commission.

Q5. Is there any re-checking or re-evaluation of the CAPF answer sheets?

No. The Commission does not allow re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets once the marks are published. The scorecard uploaded on the portal is treated as final and binding. Candidates cannot request a fresh scrutiny of their descriptive paper. The only option is to accept the published marks and prepare for the next cycle.

Q6. What are the physical standards required for CAPF Assistant Commandant?

The height requirement is 165 CM for men and 157 CM for women. Male candidates need a chest measurement between 81 CM and 86 CM. Women have no chest requirement. The 100 metre race must be finished in 16 seconds by men and 18 seconds by women. The 800 metre race limits are 3 minutes 45 seconds and 4 minutes 45 seconds. Your age must be between 20 and 25 years as on 1 August 2025. OBC candidates get three years of upper age relaxation. SC and ST candidates get five years. Ex-Servicemen receive relaxation as per the prescribed government norms. Departmental candidates also get extra age relief. All relaxations are granted only if you submit a valid certificate at the verification stage.

Q8. What happens after the final result is declared?

Recommended candidates will receive appointment letters from the allotted force. They must report for training within the given time. Medical examination and police verification follow before the final joining. The appointment stays provisional until all original documents are verified.
