Q1. What is the educational qualification for UPPSC Lecturer Technical Education 2026?

You need a BE or B.Tech degree in the related trade with first class marks. A bachelor degree plus a master degree in the relevant discipline also qualifies. The degree should come from a recognised university or an AICTE approved institute. Branch wise subject rules sit inside the official notification, so read it before applying. Candidates in their final year should confirm their status with UPPSC first.

Q2. What is the age limit and the cutoff date for this recruitment?

The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years. Age is calculated as on 01 July 2025. OBC candidates get 3 years of relaxation and SC and ST candidates get 5 years. PwD applicants receive 10 to 15 years of relaxation under government rules. Ex-servicemen get relaxation as per prevailing norms.

Q3. When will the UPPSC Lecturer Technical Education admit card be released?

The hall ticket is released before the written examination. The exam is scheduled for 06 September 2026. UPPSC usually uploads the admit card link a few days before the test date. Keep checking the official portal for the exact release update. Sarkari King will also share the direct download link once it goes live.

Q4. What is the application fee and which candidates get a concession?

General, OBC, and EWS candidates pay Rs 225. SC and ST candidates pay Rs 105. PH candidates pay only Rs 25. Payment goes through SBI MOPS debit card, credit card, net banking, or SBI e challan. An unpaid form stands rejected without any notice.

Q5. Does UPPSC open a correction window after the last date?

The commission sometimes opens a short correction window after the closing date. Only the official notice can confirm the exact dates and rules. You can edit limited fields during that window. No changes are allowed after the correction period ends. So fill your form with full attention the first time.

Q6. Which documents should I carry to the exam centre?

Carry a printed copy of your admit card along with one original photo ID. Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, and Passport all work as valid proof. Keep a photocopy of the same ID as backup. Passport size photographs may also be needed at the centre. Reach the venue well before the reporting time printed on your hall ticket.

Q7. Is there negative marking in the UPPSC Lecturer Technical Education written exam?

The official notification holds the final word on negative marking. Read the exam notice carefully before the test day. The paper carries objective questions from your technical subject. Marks and duration follow the commission scheme. Prepare as per the syllabus given in the advertisement.
