Q1. How can I check the SSC CGL Tier II final answer key and marks?

The final answer key, response sheet and marks are live on ssc.gov.in. Log in with your registration number and password. Click the answer key link on your dashboard. Your response sheet opens with correct, wrong and skipped answers marked in colours. Download the PDF and keep a printout safely. The download window closes on 16 July 2026 at 9 PM. The records will not be available after that date.

Q2. What is the objection window for the SSC CGL Tier II answer key?

The Commission opened the challenge window from 30 January to 3 February 2026 for the provisional key. Candidates paid Rs. 100 per question to raise an objection. Supporting proof or book references were required with every claim. The fee was refunded only for objections accepted by the Commission. Fresh objections cannot be raised now on the final answer key.

Q3. What are the minimum qualifying marks in SSC CGL Tier II?

SSC does not announce one fixed pass mark for every post in advance. The Commission prepares post wise and category wise cut offs after each stage. Marks from Tier I and Tier II decide your place in the final merit list. The cut off list came out along with the final result on 14 May 2026. You can download it from the official portal.

Q4. Which SSC CGL posts need Statistics or Mathematics at the Class 12 level?

Only two posts carry this extra subject condition. Junior Statistical Officer needs a degree with 60% marks in Class 12 Mathematics. It also accepts a degree with Statistics as a subject. Statistical Investigator Grade-II needs a degree with Statistics as one of the subjects. Every other post accepts a plain bachelor degree in any stream.

Q5. What is the age limit and relaxation for SSC CGL 2025?

The age is counted as on 01 August 2025. Most posts allow 18 to 30 years, while JSO allows up to 32 years. Auditor, Accountant and Tax Assistant posts allow 18 to 27 years only. CBI Sub Inspector posts carry a 20 to 30 year band. OBC gets 3 years of relaxation, SC and ST get 5 years, and PwD gets 10 to 15 years.

Q6. Who is exempted from paying the SSC CGL application fee?

Women candidates of every category pay nothing at all. SC, ST and PH candidates are also fully exempt from the fee. General, OBC and EWS male candidates pay Rs. 100. The fee is paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI. A first correction costs Rs. 200 and a second correction costs Rs. 500.

Q7. I lost my registration number. Can I still download the answer key?

Yes, you can recover the login details on the SSC portal. Use the Forgot Registration Number or Forgot Password option on the login page. The system sends a recovery link to your registered email ID and mobile number. Keep that email and number active until the whole process ends. Once you log in, the answer key and marks are visible on the dashboard.

Q8. What happens after the SSC CGL final result is declared?

Shortlisted candidates move to the document verification stage. Carry all original certificates, marksheets and category papers to the venue. The Commission then conducts the medical examination for the allotted post. After both stages, candidates receive posting in their allotted ministry or department. Keep checking ssc.gov.in for DV and joining updates.
