Q2. What is the SBI PO age limit and relaxation rule for 2026?

Age is calculated as on 1 April 2026. The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum is 30 years. OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates get 3 extra years. SC and ST candidates get 5 extra years. PwBD candidates get 10 to 15 years of relaxation as per slab. Ex-Servicemen get relaxation under government norms. Relaxation applies only to the upper age limit.

Q3. How can I download the SBI PO Mains admit card 2026?

Visit the official IBPS registration portal at ibpsreg.ibps.in. Click the Mains call letter link for the current cycle. Enter your registration number or roll number. Then type your password or date of birth. Submit the captcha code and press login. Your call letter appears on screen. Download the PDF and print two copies for the exam day.

Q4. Is there negative marking in the SBI PO examination?

Yes. One fourth of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for every wrong answer. This rule applies to the objective papers of both prelims and mains. There is no negative marking in the descriptive paper. Avoid blind guessing in the reasoning and quantitative sections. Attempt only the questions you are confident about.

Q5. Which candidates are exempted from the SBI PO application fee?

SC, ST, and PH candidates pay no application fee at all. General, OBC, and EWS candidates pay Rs 750. Female candidates pay the amount fixed for their own category. Payment is accepted only through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Keep the payment receipt safe until the final result is out.

Q6. What is the complete selection process for SBI PO 2026?

Phase I is the preliminary objective exam. It works as a qualifying stage. Phase II is the mains exam with objective and descriptive papers. Shortlisted candidates then attend a psychometric test, group exercise, and interview. Mains scores and interview marks are added for the final merit list. Document verification and medical fitness follow the final selection.

Q7. Is there any correction window to edit the SBI PO application form?

SBI does not usually open an edit window for PO applications. Fill every column carefully before the final submit. Check your name, date of birth, and category details twice. Minor changes are considered only during document verification with valid proof. Contact the helpdesk immediately if you spot a serious mistake after payment.
