Q1. What qualification is required for RRB Paramedical CEN 03/2025 posts?

Each post has its own requirement. Nursing Superintendent needs B.Sc Nursing or a GNM diploma with council registration. Pharmacist needs a two year Diploma in Pharmacy with Pharmacy Act registration. Lab Assistant needs a 12th science pass plus a DMLT diploma. Teaching linked posts accept B.Ed, D.El.Ed, or TET qualified candidates. Always match your certificate with the exact post before applying.

Q2. What is the age limit and which date is used to calculate it?

The minimum age is 18, 19, or 20 years depending on the post. The maximum age is 33, 35, or 40 years as stated in the CEN. Age is calculated from the cut off date printed in the official notification. OBC candidates get 3 years extra. SC and ST candidates get 5 years extra. PwD applicants get 10 to 15 years relaxation as per rules. Ex-Servicemen get relaxation under government norms.

Q3. What is the selection process and exam pattern for this recruitment?

Selection is based on a single stage Computer Based Test for most posts. The paper carries 100 objective questions for 100 marks. The duration is 90 minutes. Sections cover General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, General Science, and the technical trade. Shortlisted candidates then face document verification. A medical fitness test follows for final merit. There is no interview round.

Q4. Is there any negative marking in the RRB Paramedical CBT?

Yes, one third of the mark is deducted for every wrong answer. A wrong answer on a one mark question costs 0.33 marks. Skipping a question carries no penalty at all. So attempt only the questions you are confident about. Accurate attempts protect your final score.

Q5. What is the application fee and who gets a refund?

General, OBC, and EWS candidates paid Rs 500. SC, ST, and PwD applicants paid Rs 250. After appearing in the Stage I exam, UR, OBC, and EWS candidates get Rs 400 back. SC, ST, PwD, and female candidates get Rs 250 back. The refund is credited to the same bank account used for payment. Candidates who skip the exam receive no refund.

Q6. Can I correct mistakes in my submitted application form?

Yes, a correction window ran from 21 to 30 September 2025. During that period you could edit limited fields through the official portal. Some details such as the chosen RRB zone and post could not be changed. After the window closed, no further editing is allowed. Always keep the correction receipt safe.

Q7. What documents must I carry for the document verification round?

Carry your DV admit card printout and a valid photo ID. Bring Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets for age and qualification proof. Add all diploma or degree certificates for the applied post. Council registration certificates are required for nursing, pharmacy, and dental posts. Caste, EWS, and PwD certificates must come from a competent authority. Keep two passport size photographs and one set of self attested photocopies.

Q8. How can I check the answer key and raise an objection?

Log in to the RRB Digialm candidate portal with your registration number and password. Your question paper, recorded responses, and the provisional answer key appear on screen. Download the response sheet and compare each answer carefully. The objection window stays open for a limited number of days. Pay the prescribed fee for every question you challenge. Accepted objections lead to a revised answer key before the final result.
