Q1. What educational qualification is needed for RRB NTPC Graduate Level CEN 06/2025?

You must hold a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised university. There is no minimum percentage bar in this CEN. Final year students could apply only if they held the degree on the closing date. Keep your original or provisional certificate ready for verification. A diploma alone does not qualify for these Graduate Level posts.

Q2. What is the age limit and the cutoff date for this recruitment?

The age band is 18 to 33 years as on 1 January 2026. OBC candidates get 3 extra years in the upper limit. SC and ST candidates get 5 extra years. PwD candidates get 10 more years, and it rises further for reserved categories. Ex-Servicemen and serving railway staff get relief under existing rules. Your Class 10 certificate decides the date of birth.

Q3. How much is the application fee and who pays nothing?

General, OBC and EWS candidates pay Rs 500 at registration. SC, ST, PwD, female and ex-servicemen candidates pay Rs 250. Most of this money comes back after you appear in CBT I. UR, OBC and EWS candidates get Rs 400 refunded. Reserved, PwD and female candidates get the full Rs 250 back. Skip the exam and you lose the refund.

Q4. What is the selection process for these 5,810 posts?

Selection runs through four clear stages. Stage one is CBT I and stage two is CBT II. Stage three is the CBTST skill test, which is qualifying in nature. Stage four covers document verification followed by a medical fitness test. Merit is drawn from CBT I and CBT II marks combined. Normalisation applies when exam shifts differ.

Q5. Is there negative marking in the RRB NTPC exam?

Yes, one third of the marks is cut for every wrong answer. Each correct answer carries one mark in CBT I and CBT II. Blind guessing can pull down your final score fast. The CBTST stage has no negative marking because it is a skill test. Only typing or trade skill is judged there.

Q6. How can I download the RRB NTPC CBTST admit card?

Open the official registration portal at rrbapply.gov.in. Log in with your registration number and date of birth. Click the CBTST admit card link shown on the dashboard. Check the exam city, date, shift and photograph carefully. Print two colour copies and carry one photo ID to the centre.

Q7. Can I correct details in my submitted application form?

RRB opens a limited modification window after the closing date. You can usually fix your name, photo, signature and a few academic fields. Fee already paid is never adjusted or returned at that stage. Watch your regional RRB website for the exact correction dates. Post preference changes may not be allowed in every window.

Q8. Which documents are required at document verification?

Carry your CBT admit card plus one valid photo ID in original. Bring the degree certificate and the Class 10 marksheet. Keep your caste, EWS, PwD or ex-servicemen certificate handy if you claimed relaxation. Two recent passport size photographs also help at the venue. Original documents are returned after checking.
