NTA has declared the UGC NET June 2026 result on 29 August 2026. The exam ran from 22 to 30 June 2026 across 84 subjects. English, Commerce and Sociology candidates took a retest on 9 and 10 September 2026. Those retest results came out on 18 September 2026. The e-certificate was released on 24 September 2026. Candidates need a Master's degree with at least 55% marks. Reserved category candidates need 50% marks. Four year bachelor degree holders are also eligible. JRF applicants must be under 31 years of age. There is no upper age limit for the NET post. General candidates paid Rs 1150 for the application form. OBC and EWS candidates paid Rs 600. SC, ST and PH candidates paid Rs 325. General candidates need 40% aggregate marks to qualify. Reserved category candidates need 35% aggregate marks. Check your scorecard and e-certificate at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
