Q1. How do I check my JEECUP UPJEE Polytechnic 2026 result if I lost my roll number?

Open the official portal and click the result link for 2026. The login page usually asks for roll number and date of birth. If you lost the roll number, use the forgot roll number option shown on the same page. Enter your registered mobile number or email ID along with the date of birth. The system will send your roll number through SMS or email. You can also check the admit card copy that you downloaded before the exam. It carries the roll number and registration number on the top. Once you have the roll number, log in again and download the rank card.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks for JEECUP 2026 entrance exam?

The council does not publish a fixed passing mark for every group in advance. The merit list is prepared from the total score of each candidate. General category candidates usually need a rank inside the counselling cutoff for their chosen course. Reserved category candidates get relaxed cutoff ranks during seat allotment. The rank card clearly shows your score and category rank. For Diploma in Engineering, the cutoff moves every year with paper difficulty and seat count. Check the official cutoff PDF released along with the counselling schedule for exact numbers.

Q3. Can I raise an objection against the JEECUP answer key 2026?

Yes, the objection facility is available on the official website. The answer key and response sheet came out on 11 June 2026. You need to log in with your roll number and date of birth to view the response sheet. Each challenged question carries a small objection fee, which is usually paid online. The council then reviews the challenges with subject experts. If your objection is found correct, the answer is revised and the updated key is used for result preparation. Objections raised after the closing date are not accepted. So check the official notice for exact window dates.

Q4. What is the age limit and age relaxation for UPJEE Polytechnic 2026 admission?

The minimum age is 14 years as on 1 July 2026. There is no maximum age limit for this entrance test. Your date of birth must fall on or before 1 July 2012. Since no upper age limit exists, the usual category wise age relaxation does not apply here. Every candidate, regardless of category, only has to meet the 14 year minimum age bar. Carry your Class 10 marksheet as date of birth proof during document verification. Any mismatch between the application and the certificate can cause trouble at the counselling stage.

Q5. What is the application fee, and do SC, ST or female candidates get any exemption?

General, OBC and EWS candidates pay Rs 300 as the application fee. SC and ST candidates pay a reduced fee of Rs 200. There is no separate fee exemption for female candidates in this case. Payment is accepted through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, Mobile Wallet, Cash Card or an offline E Challan. The fee is non refundable once the form is submitted. If you skip the payment step, your application stands rejected automatically. Always download the payment receipt and keep it until the admission process ends.

Q6. Can I correct mistakes in my submitted JEECUP application form?

Yes, the council opens a correction window after the application deadline. For 2026, the form correction window ran from 09 to 11 May 2026. During this period you can edit details like name, date of birth, category, subject group and academic marks. Some fields such as the registered mobile number and email may stay locked. Log in with your registration number and password to access the correction page. Pay any extra fee if your category change demands it. Corrections are not allowed after the window closes, so check every column before the final submit.

Q7. Which documents are needed at the JEECUP counselling and document verification stage?

Carry your Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets plus passing certificates. For PG Diploma and Group L courses, bring your bachelor degree or BE, B.Tech certificate. ITI candidates need the NCVT or SCVT trade certificate. Keep the rank card, seat allotment letter and fee receipt handy. Bring a valid photo identity proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID or Passport. Reserved category candidates must show a valid caste or EWS certificate. PwD candidates need a disability certificate from a competent authority. Also carry a few passport size photographs for the record.

Q8. What happens after the Round 7 seat allotment result for JEECUP counselling 2026?

After the Round 7 allotment result, candidates must confirm their seat online within the given deadline. You then pay the seat acceptance fee to lock the allotted seat. Next, report to the allotted institute with original documents for verification. If you fail to report on time, the seat gets cancelled and released back to the pool. Some rounds may offer a freeze, float or upgrade option. Choose the option that fits your course and college preference. Candidates without any seat after the final round can wait for the spot counselling notice on the official portal.
