Q1. How do I download the JEE Main 2026 Session II Paper 2 result?

Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in and open the Paper 2 result link. Then enter your application number and password or date of birth. Submit the form and the NTA scorecard appears on screen. Q2. I lost my application number. Can I still check my scorecard?

Yes, you have options. Open the login page and use the forgot application number link. Enter your registered mobile number, email ID and date of birth. NTA sends your application number by SMS or email. You can also check the confirmation page you saved after form submission. If nothing works, contact the NTA helpdesk with your admit card copy.

Q3. Is there any minimum qualifying mark in the JEE Main exam?

NTA does not fix a passing mark for the exam itself. The agency only declares percentile scores and All India Ranks. Qualifying standards are set separately by the admission authority for each course. For B.Arch and B.Planning, the Council of Architecture and the participating institutes decide the cutoff. Your rank matters more than a fixed percentage.

Q4. Can I challenge the answer key after the result is out?

No. The challenge window closes before the result is declared. NTA opens objections right after the provisional key is displayed. You pay Rs. 200 per question to raise an objection. The fee is non refundable. Once the expert panel reviews every challenge, the final answer key is published. The result is then prepared from that final key.

Q5. Does NTA allow re-checking or re-evaluation of the scorecard?

No. NTA does not accept re-checking or re-evaluation requests after the result. The final answer key is treated as the only correct version. Since the paper is computer based, there is no manual evaluation involved. You may raise an objection only during the answer key challenge window. After that, scores are final.

Q6. What happens after the Paper 2 result is declared?

Your NTA score feeds into the central counselling process. B.Arch and B.Planning seats are allotted through JoSAA and then CSAB rounds. You must register online, fill your choices and lock them before the deadline. Seat allotment depends on your rank, category and the choices you fill. Complete document verification at the reporting centre to confirm your seat.

Q7. Is there any age limit for B.Arch and B.Planning admission?

NTA has kept no age limit for JEE Main. There is no minimum or maximum age bar for any category. You only need to pass 10+2 with the required subjects. Students who passed in 2024 or 2025 are eligible. Those appearing in 2026 can also apply. Individual institutes may add their own rules at the time of admission.

Q8. Which documents do I need for counselling and admission?

Keep your Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets plus passing certificates ready. Carry the JEE Main 2026 scorecard, your admit card and the application form printout. Add passport size photographs, a valid photo ID and a category or EWS certificate if applicable. Diploma holders should bring their diploma marksheets. PwD candidates need a valid disability certificate from a competent authority.

NTA JEE Main 2026 Session II Paper 2 Result - Download B.Arch / B.Planning Scorecard

NTA has declared the JEE Main 2026 Session II Paper 2 result for B.Arch and B.Planning candidates. Scorecards are now live at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The computer based exam ran from 2 April to 9 April 2026. Paper 1 scores came out on 20 April 2026. Paper 2 scores followed on 5 May 2026. There is no age limit for this exam. You need a 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from a recognized board. Students who passed in 2024 or 2025 can also apply, along with those appearing in 2026. Fees vary by paper and category. General male candidates pay Rs 1000 for Paper 1 alone. Female and reserved category applicants pay less. SC and ST candidates pay Rs 500. Answer key challenges cost Rs 200 per question. Log in with your application number and date of birth to get your scorecard.
