Q2. What details should I check on the IBPS SO admit card after download?

Check your name, roll number, registration number, post name and category first. Look at the photograph and signature carefully. Final year students can apply if they produce proof of passing before the cut off.

Q5. Is there negative marking in the IBPS SO examination?

Yes, negative marking applies in both prelims and mains. One fourth of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for each wrong answer. Unanswered questions carry no penalty. Each prelims section has a separate timing of 40 minutes. You cannot move between sections during the test.

Q6. What documents must I carry to the IBPS SO exam centre?

Carry a printed copy of the admit card with a pasted photograph. Bring one original photo identity proof like Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport or Driving Licence. These two documents are compulsory for entry. Electronic gadgets, calculators, Bluetooth devices and paper notes are not allowed inside the hall. Reach the venue before the reporting time printed on the call letter.

Q7. What is the application fee for IBPS SO and who is exempt?

General, EWS and OBC candidates paid Rs 850. SC, ST and PH candidates paid Rs 175. Payment was accepted through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, IMPS, Cash Card and Wallet. Bank charges and GST apply as per rules. Applications without a successful fee payment are treated as rejected.

Q8. Can I edit my IBPS SO application form after submission?

IBPS usually opens a short correction window after the last date. Only limited columns can be edited during that period. Name, post preference and category changes need supporting documents. Candidates who miss the window cannot modify details later. Always verify the form before the final submit and payment step. Sarkari King advises every applicant to save the submitted PDF safely.
