Q1. How can I check my CUET UG 2026 result if I lost my application number?

You can still open your scorecard without the application number. Go to the NTA result login page and look for the recovery link. Enter your registered mobile number and email ID there. NTA will send the application number to your phone. You can also use your date of birth along with the registered email. Keep your Class 10 roll number handy as a backup proof.

Q2. Is there any minimum qualifying mark in the CUET UG 2026 exam?

NTA does not fix any minimum passing mark for CUET UG. The agency only prepares and shares the score. Each university sets its own cutoff later. Delhi University, BHU and JNU release separate cutoffs every year. A higher percentile improves your admission chances. Reserved category candidates usually get relaxed cutoffs at the university level.

Q3. Can I apply for re checking or re evaluation of my CUET UG score?

NTA does not accept re checking or re evaluation requests after the result. The final answer key is treated as final. You can raise objections during the answer key window instead. That window opens before the result is declared. A processing fee applies for each question you challenge. NTA reviews valid objections and updates the answer key.

Q4. What happens after the CUET UG 2026 result is declared?

Participating universities start their own admission process after the result. Delhi University runs the CSAS portal for seat allotment. BHU, JNU and Jamia Millia open separate counselling rounds. You must register on each university portal separately. Fill your course preferences and upload the required documents. Seat allotment then happens through multiple rounds.

Q5. How is the CUET UG 2026 score calculated and does NTA use normalisation?

NTA uses a normalisation method when the exam runs in multiple shifts. Raw marks are converted into normalised scores for fair comparison. The scorecard shows both raw marks and the normalised score. It also prints your subject wise percentile. Percentile shows how many candidates scored below you. This keeps the process fair across different question papers.

Q6. Is there any age limit or attempt limit for CUET UG 2026?

There is no age limit for CUET UG 2026. NTA also puts no cap on the number of attempts. You can appear as many times as you wish. You only need a Class 10 plus 2 pass or appearing certificate. Some universities may have their own age rules. Check the individual university brochure before filling your form.

Q7. Which documents do I need during university admission after the result?

Keep your Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets ready. Carry a printed copy of your CUET UG 2026 scorecard. Photo ID proof like Aadhaar, PAN or Passport is needed. Category certificates must come from a competent authority. EWS and PwD certificates must be current and valid. Some universities also ask for a migration certificate.

Q8. Can I change my subject combination after the CUET UG result is out?

You cannot change your subject combination after the result. The subject update window closed on 19 April 2026. Universities map your CUET subjects to their course requirements. If your subjects do not match, that course option becomes invalid. Check the university eligibility page before filling preferences. Choose only those courses that fit your tested subjects.
