Q1. What educational qualification do I need for CBSE Group A, B and C posts?

The requirement changes from post to post. Assistant Secretary needs a graduation degree in any stream. The three Assistant Professor and Assistant Director posts need a post graduate degree with 55% marks. Accounts Officer accepts a commerce or accounts based degree, MBA Finance, CA or ICWA. Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant need 12th pass with the listed subjects. Junior Translation Officer needs a master degree plus a translation diploma or three years of experience. Always match your certificate with the exact post code before applying.

Q2. How is the age limit calculated and what relaxation do reserved categories get?

The board counts your age as on 22 December 2025, the last date of application. Assistant Secretary and Accounts Officer allow up to 35 years. Assistant Professor posts, Superintendent and Junior Translation Officer allow up to 30 years. Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant allow up to 27 years. OBC candidates get 3 years of relaxation, SC and ST get 5 years, and PwD candidates get 10 to 15 years. Ex-servicemen get relaxation as per government norms.

Q3. What is the selection process and exam pattern for CBSE DRQ2026?

Selection moves through several stages. Tier I is an objective written test held on 31 January and 01 February 2026. Tier II is another objective test held from 18 to 26 April 2026. Shortlisted candidates then face a skill test for typing, computer work or translation. Document verification follows for the final merit list. There is no interview for most Group B and Group C posts. The board does not mention negative marking in its public notices, so read the information booklet carefully.

Q4. How much is the application fee and who is fully exempt?

Group A applicants from General, OBC and EWS categories pay Rs 1750. Group B and Group C applicants from these categories pay Rs 1050. SC, ST, female and PwD candidates pay a reduced fee of only Rs 250. No candidate gets a full exemption in this recruitment. Payment is accepted through e-Challan, Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. An unpaid form is treated as incomplete and is rejected.

Q5. Is there a correction window to edit my submitted application form?

The board opened the online window from 2 December 2025 to 22 December 2025. Any correction facility is announced separately through a public notice on cbse.gov.in. Candidates should check the recruitment page regularly for such updates. If a correction window opens, you can edit limited fields within the given dates. After the window closes, no request for changes is accepted. So fill every column with great care at the start.

Q6. How do I download the CBSE Skill Test Admit Card 2026?

Visit the official examination services portal at examinationservices.nic.in. Find the link for the DRQ2026 Skill Test admit card. Enter your registration number and date of birth in the login box. Q7. Which documents must I carry for the skill test and verification?

Carry a clear printout of your admit card first. Add your Class 10 certificate for date of birth proof. Bring the degree, diploma or experience certificate that matches your post. Keep a valid category, EWS or PwD certificate if you claimed relaxation. A recent passport size photo and a photo identity proof are also needed.
