Q1. I have misplaced my roll number. Can I still check my BPSSC SI Prohibition result?

Yes. Open the official portal and look for the result link. You can search your name in the merit list PDF. The PDF lists roll numbers along with candidate names. Use Ctrl+F inside the PDF to find your name quickly. Keep your registration number handy for the scorecard login. Contact the BPSSC helpdesk if your name is missing.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks in the BPSSC SI Prohibition written exam?

BPSSC releases category wise cut off marks along with the result. The cut off depends on paper difficulty and total vacancies. General candidates usually need higher marks than reserved category candidates. There is no single fixed pass mark for every stage. Check the official cut off notice for the exact figures.

Q3. Is there any provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of the BPSSC answer sheet?

No. BPSSC does not accept re-checking requests after the result is out. The commission treats the published answer key as final. Objections are allowed only during the answer key window. Once that window closes, no changes are possible. Candidates should raise doubts at the right time.

Q4. What happens after the BPSSC SI Prohibition result is declared?

Shortlisted candidates move to the physical test stage. That includes height, chest and running checks. Document verification follows for candidates who clear the physical round. A medical fitness exam is the last step. The final merit list is prepared from all stage scores combined.

Q5. What is the age limit and relaxation for BPSSC SI Prohibition 2026?

The minimum age is 20 years as on 1 August 2026. Male candidates can apply up to 37 years. Female candidates get an upper limit of 40 years. EBC, BC, SC, ST and PwD candidates receive standard relaxations. Read the official notification for the exact slab.

Q6. What educational qualification is required for BPSSC SI Prohibition?

You need a Bachelor degree from a recognized university. Any stream is acceptable for this post. Final year students should check the cut off date rules first. The degree must come from a UGC recognized institution. Keep your marksheets ready for the verification round.

Q7. Is the BPSSC application fee refundable, and do reserved candidates get a waiver?

Every applicant pays Rs 100 as the exam fee. That includes General, BC, EWS and other state candidates. SC and ST candidates also pay Rs 100. There is no fee waiver for reserved categories here. Fees are non refundable once paid.

Q8. Which documents do I need to carry for BPSSC document verification?

Carry your Class 10 marksheet and certificate for date of birth proof. Bring your graduation degree and all semester marksheets. Keep your caste or EWS certificate from a competent authority ready. Add a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN or voter card. Paste recent photographs as per the prescribed size.
