Q1. What qualifications do I need for the PGT and TGT posts at Gonda?

For PGT posts you need a Master's degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks. For TGT posts a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject is enough. Both levels demand a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from an NCTE recognized institute. A valid UP TET Paper II or CTET Paper II pass is also compulsory. Your degree must come from a recognized university or board.

Q2. What is the age limit and how is it calculated for this recruitment?

The maximum age limit is 50 years as on 1 July 2026. The minimum age follows the official notification norm. There is no age relaxation for the general category. OBC candidates get 3 years of upper age relief. SC and ST applicants get 5 years of relaxation. PwD candidates get 10 to 15 years as per state rules.

Q3. Is there any written exam for Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Gonda teacher vacancies?

No written test is held for these teaching posts. The Samiti screens forms first on academic marks and TET status. Shortlisted candidates then attend an interview and a demo class. Original documents are checked during verification. Final merit depends on your degree marks, subject command and demo performance.

Q4. How much is the application fee and who is exempted?

There is no application fee at all. General, OBC and EWS candidates pay nothing. SC, ST, women and PwD applicants are also fully exempt. So nobody needs to arrange any payment or challan. You only need to submit the filled form with the required documents.

Q5. Is this a permanent government teacher job?

No, this is not a permanent government post. The engagement is made on an outsourcing and contractual basis. The contract runs for a fixed term, usually one academic session. It can be renewed each year based on your performance. These posts carry no right to regularisation in any department.

Q6. How can I apply for UP Atal Avasiya Vidyalaya Gonda Recruitment 2026?

The application process is offline. Download the form from the official Gonda portal or the notice PDF. Fill it with accurate academic and personal details. Attach self attested copies of all required certificates. Submit the form at the Samiti office before 11 September 2026. You may also send it by registered or speed post.

Q7. Which documents must I attach with the application form?

Keep your Class 10 marksheet for date of birth proof ready. Attach graduation and post graduation marksheets for the concerned subject. Include your B.Ed or D.El.Ed certificate and marksheet. Add your UP TET or CTET scorecard and caste certificate if applicable. A recent photograph, signature and photo identity proof are also needed.

Q8. Can candidates appearing in the final year of B.Ed apply for these vacancies?

Candidates must hold a completed B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree at the time of application. Final year appearing students are usually not accepted for these posts. The same rule applies to the UP TET qualification, which must already be cleared. Always check the official notification for the latest clarity on this point.
