Q1. How can I check my UPSSSC X Ray Technician result if I lost my roll number?

You can recover your roll number using your registered mobile number. Visit the official UPSSSC website and go to the results section. Look for the forgotten roll number recovery option. Enter your name, date of birth, and father name exactly as submitted. The system will display your registration details. Alternatively, check your downloaded admit card PDF. Your email inbox might also contain the original registration confirmation message. Keep these details safe for future verification rounds.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks for the UPSSSC X Ray Technician exam 2026?

The commission decides the cut off marks based on multiple factors. These include total vacancies, difficulty level, and candidate performance. Separate cut off lists are prepared for General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories. You must score above the minimum threshold in the main written exam. The official cut off marks PDF is available on the UPSSSC portal. Candidates scoring below the category specific cut off will not be shortlisted. Always refer to the official merit list for exact qualifying scores.

Q3. Is there any provision for rechecking or revaluation of the answer sheets?

The UPSSSC generally does not entertain revaluation requests for objective exams. However, candidates can verify their scores using the revised master answer key. The commission released the revised answer key on 4 April 2025. You can match your responses against this official key. If you find calculation errors in your scorecard, you may file a grievance. Contact the commission helpdesk within the stipulated time frame. No manual rechecking of OMR sheets is usually permitted under current rules.

Q4. What happens after the declaration of the final merit list?

Shortlisted candidates will receive official call letters for document verification. You must present all original educational and identity certificates. The verification process confirms your eligibility claims made during application. After successful verification, candidates undergo a medical fitness examination. Medical boards at designated government hospitals conduct these tests. Once you clear both stages, the department issues formal appointment letters. You will then be assigned a posting location across Uttar Pradesh health centers.

Q5. Can final year diploma students apply for this X Ray Technician post?

No, final year appearing candidates are not eligible for this recruitment. You must possess the completed diploma certificate before the application deadline. The commission strictly requires proof of passing the X Ray Technology course. Your diploma must be recognized by the relevant state paramedical council. Provisional certificates might be accepted only if the final result is declared. Always read the official notification carefully regarding educational cutoff dates. Incomplete qualifications lead to immediate rejection during the verification stage.

Q6. How do I download my individual scorecard from the UPSSSC portal?

Visit the official website upsssc.gov.in using any modern web browser. Navigate to the Results tab located on the homepage menu. Click on the specific link for the X Ray Technician final result. A login window will appear on your screen. Enter your registration number and password or date of birth. Submit the form to view your detailed scorecard. You can see your subject wise marks and overall rank here. Download the file as a PDF and print it for your personal records.

Q7. Was there any negative marking in the UPSSSC X Ray Technician main exam?

Yes, the UPSSSC typically applies negative marking in its main examinations. For every incorrect answer, a fraction of the allotted marks is deducted. Usually, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question are penalized. Unattempted questions do not attract any negative penalty. You should review the official exam notice for the exact deduction ratio. This rule encourages candidates to avoid blind guessing during the test. Proper preparation helps minimize errors and protects your overall score.

Q8. Where can I find the official category wise vacancy distribution for this result?

The category wise vacancy breakdown is listed in the original recruitment notification. For this exam, a total of 382 seats were distributed across reserved and unreserved categories. General category candidates competed for 153 posts. The OBC category had 103 seats allocated. Economically Weaker Section candidates received 38 seats.
