A two year Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education, NTT, CT (Nursery) or DPSE is also accepted. That diploma must be recognised by the NCTE in Preschool Education. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation should wait for their result, because proof of passing is checked during document verification.

Q2. What is the age limit and the cutoff date for this recruitment?

The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years. Age is counted as on the closing date of the application window, which is 11 July 2026. OBC candidates get 3 years of upper age relaxation. SC and ST candidates get 5 years. PwD candidates get 10 to 15 years as per government norms. Ex-servicemen get relaxation under the standard state rules.

Q3. Is there any written exam or interview for the ECCE Educator post?

No. There is no written exam and no formal interview stage for this outsourcing hiring. Selection is based on merit. The panel screens your academic marks and eligibility documents first. Shortlisted candidates are then called for document verification. The final merit list is published on the Sewayojan portal. Higher qualifying marks and preschool teaching experience improve your chances.

Q4. Do I have to pay any application fee for this UP Basic Education vacancy?

No. The application fee is zero for every candidate. General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, women and PwD applicants all pay nothing. There is no online payment step in the form. Some private websites may charge a service fee for filling the form, but the official Sewayojan portal charges nothing at all.

Q5. Is registration on the UP Rojgar Sangam (Sewayojan) portal mandatory?

Yes. Only candidates who hold a valid Sewayojan portal profile can apply for this ECCE Educator vacancy. If you have not registered yet, complete your registration at sewayojan.up.nic.in before the last date. Keep your registered mobile number active. All updates, shortlisting messages and merit lists are shared through this portal profile.

Q6. Is this a permanent government job or a contractual post?

This is a pure outsourcing and contractual engagement. You are hired through an empanelled agency for the Basic Education Department in Maharajganj. The engagement usually runs for 11 months or up to the end of the academic session. Renewal depends on your attendance and work record. You cannot claim regularisation or a permanent government post through this route.

Q7. What is the monthly salary for the ECCE Educator post?

The approximate monthly honorarium is Rs. 10,313/-. The pay range for this post is Rs. 10,001/- to Rs. 20,000/- depending on the district and the outsourcing agency. No dearness allowance, grade pay or pension applies here. The amount is credited to your bank account after monthly attendance certification by the school head.

Q8. How do I apply online and what documents should I keep ready?

Apply online through sewayojan.up.nic.in between 24 June 2026 and 11 July 2026. Keep your Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, graduation or NTT diploma certificate, NCTE recognition proof, photograph, signature and Aadhaar Card handy.
