Q1. What qualification do I need for UP ECCE Educator Recruitment 2026?

You should hold a graduation degree with Home Science as a subject. A two year Nursery Teacher Training certificate is also accepted. The same applies to CT Nursery and DPSE holders. Any ECCE course treated as equivalent by the department works too. If your graduation is in another subject, you can still apply with a valid NTT or DPSE credential. Always check the district notice for exact wording.

Q2. What is the age limit and which date is used for the cutoff?

The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum is 40 years. Age is counted against the closing date mentioned in the district notice. OBC applicants get 3 years of extra relaxation at the upper end. SC and ST candidates receive 5 years of relief. PwD and ex servicemen get relaxation as per state government norms.

Q3. Is there a written exam or interview for this recruitment?

No. There is no written examination for these ECCE Educator posts. Selection is merit based and drawn from your academic record. Shortlisted applicants are then called for document verification. Candidates must bring all original certificates on that day. Final engagement follows successful verification and fitness clearance.

Q4. How much is the application fee and who is exempted?

The application fee is zero for everyone. General, OBC, and EWS applicants pay nothing. SC, ST, PwD, and women candidates are also fully exempt. There is no online payment step on the Sewayojan portal for this vacancy. You only need a completed registration to finish your form.

Q5. Is registration on the UP Rojgar Sangam (Sewayojan) portal compulsory?

Yes, portal registration is compulsory. The application runs in two steps on sewayojan.up.nic.in. First you create your candidate profile with a mobile number and email ID. Then you log in and fill the actual form for your district. Keep your registration number safe for future updates.

Q6. What is the monthly salary and is this a permanent government job?

The monthly remuneration is about Rs. 10,313 per candidate. The notified pay range for these roles is Rs. 10,001 to Rs. 20,000. This is a contractual and outsourcing engagement, not a permanent post. The contract is usually renewed for 11 months or one academic session. Renewal depends on performance and district requirements.

Q7. What is the last date to apply and can I correct my form later?

The online window closes on 07 August 2026. Applications opened on 22 July 2026. Some districts announce their own closing dates, so check your district notice. Edits are usually allowed during an active window before final submission. Once submitted, changes follow the portal correction rules only.

Q8. Which documents are checked during verification?

Carry your Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates. Bring your graduation degree along with all year wise marksheets. Your NTT, DPSE, CT Nursery, B.Ed, or D.El.Ed certificate is also required. Caste, EWS, and PwD certificates must come from a competent authority. Photo identity proof plus your Sewayojan registration printout should also be kept ready.
