Q1. How do I download the SSB Constable Tradesman PET PST admit card 2026?

Visit the official recruitment portal and open the PET PST admit card link. Enter your registration ID and password in the login box. The hall ticket appears on the screen once you submit the details. Download the PDF and take clear colour printouts. You must carry this printout plus a photo ID to the physical test ground.

Q2. When is the SSB Constable Tradesman PET PST exam date 2026?

The physical tests begin on 19 August 2026. Admit cards were released on 8 August 2026, so you still have time to download yours. Your exact date, reporting time, and venue appear on the hall ticket. Reach the ground at least an hour before the reporting slot. Late entry is usually not allowed.

Q3. What is the age limit for SSB Constable Tradesman recruitment 2026?

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum is 23 years on 1 July 2026 for most trades. Carpenter posts allow up to 25 years. Driver, Nursing Orderly, and Veterinary posts allow up to 27 years. OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation and SC or ST candidates get 5 years. PwD and Ex-Servicemen get relaxation as per government rules.

Q4. What educational qualification is required for these 827 posts?

You need a Class 10 pass certificate from a recognized board plus an ITI trade certificate. The ITI certificate must match the trade you select in the form. Driver applicants also need a valid driving licence as prescribed. Certificates from NCVT or SCVT recognized institutes are accepted. Candidates appearing in the final ITI exam should check the notice carefully.

Q5. What is the application fee and who is fully exempted?

General, OBC, and EWS candidates paid Rs 100 for the form. SC, ST, PwD, and all female candidates paid nothing at all. The fee was accepted through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI mode only. Applications without the required fee were treated as incomplete and rejected.

Q6. What happens in the PET and PST rounds and is there a written exam?

The PET round is a qualifying race and task based test with fixed time limits. The PST round records your height, chest, and weight against SSB standards. Qualifying candidates then move to the trade test and document verification. A medical examination follows for finally shortlisted candidates. The full stage wise pattern is listed in the official notification.

Q7. Is there a correction window to edit my submitted application form?

Yes, SSB usually opens a correction window as per schedule after the closing date. Only selected fields can be edited during this period. Details like name, date of birth, and category need extra care. Once the correction window closes, no further edit request is accepted. Always keep a printout of the final corrected form.

Q8. Which documents must I carry for the PET, PST and verification round?

Carry the printed admit card along with one government photo ID proof. Bring your Class 10 marksheet and ITI certificate in original. Category certificates for OBC, SC, ST, EWS, or PwD are needed for benefit claims. Driver trade candidates must show a valid driving licence. Keep recent passport photos and a set of self attested photocopies too.
