Q1. Is the RPSC SI re-exam admit card 2026 out for every candidate?

The hall ticket was released on 17 September 2026 on the official RPSC website. It is meant only for the 383,097 candidates who had appeared in both question papers of the 2021 written exam. If you skipped any paper back then, you cannot download a re-exam admit card. The commission cancelled the earlier process and ordered a fresh test. Keep your registration number and date of birth handy before you log in.

Q2. When is the RPSC Sub Inspector re-examination and what about shift timings?

The re-exam is scheduled for 20 September 2026. The reporting time, shift details and gate closing time are printed on your admit card. Reach the centre at least an hour before the reporting slot to avoid last minute rush. No candidate is allowed inside the hall after the gate closes. Check the exact address one day before the exam.

Q3. What is the age limit for this recruitment and how is the cutoff date calculated?

The minimum age was 20 years and the maximum was 25 years. Age was counted as on 01 January 2022, the notified cutoff date. OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates got 3 extra years in the upper limit. SC and ST candidates received 5 years of relaxation. PwD candidates got up to 10 years of relief. Ex-Servicemen were given relaxation as per state government norms.

Q4. What educational qualification is needed for RPSC Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander posts?

A bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university is the basic requirement. There was no subject wise restriction for these posts. Degrees from any university recognized in India were accepted for all six post and area combinations. Candidates who held the degree before the closing date of the application could apply. No teaching or technical certificate was needed for these vacancies.

Q5. What was the application fee and who paid less?

General, OBC and EWS candidates paid Rs. 350 as the application fee. OBC (Non Creamy Layer) applicants paid a reduced fee of Rs. 250. SC and ST candidates paid only Rs. 150. Payment was accepted online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking and UPI. Offline payment through bank Challan was also allowed. Fee once deposited was neither refunded nor transferred to another post.

Q6. Which documents must a candidate carry to the re-exam centre?

Carry a clear printout of the re-exam admit card 2026 without fail. Bring one original photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID or Passport. Keep two recent passport size photographs in the same look as the uploaded image. Candidates claiming TSP or category benefits should keep the relevant certificate handy. Mobile phones, smart watches and study material are strictly banned inside the hall.

Q7. Is there negative marking in the RPSC SI written examination?

RPSC objective papers generally carry a penalty for wrong answers. The commission deducts marks for each incorrect response as per its own rules. This means blind guessing can pull your score down sharply. Read the instruction sheet printed on the question booklet before you begin. Attempt only the questions you are reasonably confident about.

Q8. What are the physical standards for Sub Inspector and Platoon Commander posts?

Male candidates needed a minimum height of 168 CMS. Male chest measurement had to fall between 81 and 86 CMS. Female candidates needed a minimum height of 152 CMS. Female candidates also required a minimum weight of 47.5 KG. Chest norms did not apply to female applicants. These standards were checked during the PET round held between 12 and 18 February 2022.

Q9. I forgot my registration number. How do I download the admit card?

Use the SSO login page on the Rajasthan portal to recover your details. The forgot password option sends a reset link to your registered mobile number or email. Check the SMS and email inbox tied to your application for the roll number. If nothing works, contact the RPSC helpdesk before exam day. Never share your login details with any agent or coaching centre.
