Q1. How can I check my RBI Junior Engineer result if I lost my registration number?

You can search for your name or roll number directly in the official result PDF file. The Reserve Bank of India publishes the complete merit list as a downloadable PDF document. Open the PDF file using any standard reader application. Use the search function by pressing Ctrl and F keys together on your keyboard. Type your full name exactly as you entered it during the application process. Your roll number and qualifying status will be displayed next to your name if you are shortlisted. You can also recover your registration number via the registered email address linked to your application.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks required to clear the RBI JE written exam?

The Reserve Bank of India decides the cut off marks after the exam concludes. These marks vary based on the total number of candidates who appeared. They also depend on the overall difficulty level of the question paper. Separate cut off marks are fixed for each reservation category. General category candidates usually need higher scores compared to reserved categories. You must clear both the sectional cut off and the overall cut off marks. Failing to meet the minimum threshold in any single section leads to disqualification regardless of your total score.

Q3. Is there any provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of the RBI JE answer sheets?

The Reserve Bank of India does not entertain requests for manual re-evaluation. The computer-based test answers are evaluated automatically by secure software systems. There is no human intervention in the scoring process for objective questions. Therefore, applications for re-checking or re-totaling of marks are strictly rejected. The scorecard generated by the system is treated as final and binding. Candidates should review their performance based on the published answer key if available. Any discrepancies in the technical evaluation must be reported immediately through the official grievance portal.

Q4. What happens after the RBI Junior Engineer final result is declared?

Candidates whose names appear in the final merit list receive an official communication. This communication contains instructions for the document verification stage. You must present all original educational and experience certificates for physical inspection. The authorities will verify your diploma or degree marksheets against the eligibility criteria. After successful document verification, you will undergo a medical fitness examination. This medical test is conducted by a panel of doctors approved by the bank. Only candidates who pass both the document check and the medical test receive the final appointment letter.

Q5. Can final year engineering students apply for the RBI Junior Engineer post?

No, final year appearing students are not eligible to apply for this post. You must have already passed your diploma or engineering degree examination. The final result must be declared before the closing date of the application. You need to upload your final passing certificate during the online form submission. Provisional certificates issued by universities are accepted temporarily. However, you must produce the original consolidated marksheet during the verification stage. Candidates waiting for their final semester results should wait for the next recruitment cycle.

Q6. How is the age limit calculated for the RBI Junior Engineer recruitment 2026?

The age limit is calculated based on a specific cutoff date mentioned in the notification. For this recruitment cycle, the cutoff date is 1 April 2026. Your age on this exact date must fall between 20 and 30 years. The date of birth recorded in your Class 10 matriculation certificate is considered final. No other document is accepted for age proof purposes. Reserved category candidates receive upper age relaxation as per central government rules. OBC candidates get three extra years while SC and ST candidates get five additional years.

Q7. What documents are mandatory for the RBI JE document verification stage?

Carry your original diploma or B.Tech degree marksheet and passing certificate. Valid experience certificates from previous employers are absolutely necessary. Keep your category certificate ready if you applied under a reserved quota. Physically handicapped candidates must bring a valid disability certificate from a recognized medical board.
