Q1. What educational qualification is needed for Rajasthan Safai Karamchari Recruitment 2026?

No minimum educational qualification is prescribed for this post. You do not need to pass Class 10 or hold any diploma. The department only checks your Rajasthan domicile and your ULB sanitation experience. Candidates who studied up to any class can apply online. Your identity and experience papers are checked at verification.

Q2. What is the age limit and the age calculation date for this vacancy?

The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum is 40 years. Age is calculated as on 1 January 2027. OBC candidates get 3 years of upper age relaxation. SC and ST applicants get 5 years of relaxation. PwD candidates receive 10 years of relaxation under the 2022 contractual hiring rules.

Q3. Is there any written exam, interview, or physical test for Safai Karamchari posts?

No. There is no written exam, no interview, and no physical efficiency test. Selection is done through an online lottery draw. Candidates with verified ULB sanitation experience get priority in the list. Shortlisted names then move to document verification and a medical check.

Q4. What is the application fee and which categories get a concession?

General candidates pay Rs 600. OBC, SC, ST, and PH candidates pay Rs 400. OTR registration on the SSO portal is compulsory before form filling. Payment is accepted online through UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking. Keep the payment receipt safe for future reference.

Q5. How much work experience is required and where should it come from?

You need one full year of cleaning or sweeping work in an Urban Local Body. The ULB must be a recognised municipal body in Rajasthan. An experience certificate with clear joining and leaving dates is required. Self declared experience letters are not accepted at verification.

Q6. Can I correct or edit my submitted Safai Karamchari application form?

Fill the form carefully because limited corrections are normally allowed. The department may open a correction window after the closing date. Updates about such a window appear on the official LSG Rajasthan portal. No changes are possible once the final verification stage begins. Always save a preview before submitting.

Q7. Which documents are required at the document verification stage?

Carry your original Rajasthan domicile certificate and ULB experience certificate. Class 10 marksheet or birth certificate works as age proof. Category, EWS, or PwD certificates are needed if you claim relaxation. Also bring Aadhaar, Jan Aadhaar, photographs, and the submitted application printout.

Q8. Where can I apply online for these 24,752 Safai Karamchari posts?
