Q1. What qualifications are needed for the Yoga Trainer and Yoga Teacher posts?

Both posts need a Bachelor degree in B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed with Yoga from a recognized university or institute. The Yoga Teacher post on the skill course also needs at least 2 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes at a CBSE school. Carry your degree marksheet and the experience letter to the venue. Female candidates get preference for the Yoga Trainer seat.

Q2. What is the age limit for the Matron post and how is the cutoff date calculated?

You must be between 35 and 55 years of age as on 01 July 2026. The lower limit is a minimum age rule, so younger candidates cannot apply for this seat. Upper age relaxation for OBC, SC, ST, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen follows standard government norms. Age proof comes from your Class 10 marksheet or birth certificate. The notice does not print a separate age band for the other posts.

Q3. Is there any written exam for these Navodaya Vidyalaya Prayagraj contract posts?

No. There is no written test and no computer-based test for any of these posts. Selection happens through a walk-in interview held on 30 June 2026. Dance, music, and sports candidates must also give a short practical demo. Your subject knowledge, teaching style, and documents decide the final outcome.

Q4. Do I have to pay any application fee for this walk-in recruitment?

No fee is charged for any category. General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PH, and female candidates all pay nothing. The notice does not ask for an online payment or a challan. You only spend on your own travel and stay. Carry the printed notice and original certificates with you.

Q5. Which documents should I carry on 30 June 2026?

Bring your Class 10 marksheet and certificate, plus all B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed, graduation, diploma, or certificate marksheets for your post. Add experience letters, four passport-size photographs, and a valid photo identity proof. Carry a filled application form and self-attested copies of every certificate. Originals must be shown for verification on the spot.

Q6. Will the contract be extended after the 2026-27 session?

The engagement runs for the 2026-27 academic session only. Automatic extension beyond that session is not allowed as per Samiti contract norms. Any fresh engagement depends on the school requirement and a new selection process. This contract also gives you no claim to a regular government post. Poor conduct can end the contract at once.

Q7. What monthly salary or honorarium will I get in these contract posts?

The school pays a consolidated monthly honorarium as per Samiti contract norms. The vacancy notice does not print a fixed amount for any of the six posts. Payment is made on a monthly basis for the duration of the contract. Confirm the exact figure with the school office at the interview venue.

Q8. Can I appear for more than one post at the same venue?

You may apply for a post where you meet the full eligibility conditions. The interview is held in a single day, so plan your documents for the post you target. Each post has its own panel and its own skill check. Applying for a post without the required degree or experience will not help you. Read the official notice once before you travel to Meja Khas.
