Q1. What is the educational eligibility for the NIELIT CCC Exam 2026?

You must pass Class 12 (10+2 Intermediate) from a recognised board in India. All streams are accepted for this course. Direct applicants can register without any institute sponsorship. Students from open schools with valid certificates also qualify. There is no minimum percentage requirement for registration.

Q2. Is there any age limit or age relaxation for CCC registration?

No. NIELIT has not fixed any minimum or maximum age for CCC. A school student and a working professional can both apply. Since no upper ceiling exists, age relaxation rules never come into play here. You only need a valid Class 12 pass certificate and a working email ID.

Q3. What is the CCC exam pattern and does negative marking apply?

The CCC test is an online computer based exam of 90 minutes. It carries 100 objective questions of one mark each. Topics include computer basics, operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, internet and cyber security. As per NIELIT practice, no negative marking is applied. Candidates need 50 percent marks to pass.

Q4. How much is the application fee and can any category claim a waiver?

Every applicant pays Rs 500 as the exam fee. General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, women and PwD candidates all pay the same amount. NIELIT offers no concession for this certificate course. Payment is accepted through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking and UPI. Unpaid forms are treated as incomplete.

Q5. When is the CCC exam conducted and when does the application window open?

NIELIT holds the CCC exam four times a year, in March, June, September and December. The fresh application window opens on 1 November 2026. Registration normally stays open until the last day of the month. Keep checking the official portal for cycle wise dates and admit card updates.

Q6. Can I correct details after submitting the CCC application form?

Yes, minor corrections are usually allowed through your candidate login before the deadline. NIELIT opens a short editing window in many exam cycles. Name, date of birth and photograph errors should be fixed at once. After the final submission date, no changes are accepted.

Q7. Which documents should I carry to the CCC exam centre?

Carry a printed admit card along with one original photo identity proof. Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID or Passport works fine. Reach the centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time. Without the admit card, entry into the exam hall is not allowed.

Q8. How do I apply online for the NIELIT CCC Exam 2026?
