Q1. How can I download my NCHM JEE 2026 scorecard?

Visit the official NTA portal at exams.nta.nic.in/nchm-jee/ for the scorecard. Look for the download result link on the home page. Click it and a login page will open. Enter your application number and date of birth in the fields. Type the security pin and press submit. Your scorecard will appear on the screen. Download the PDF file and keep a printed copy safe.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks for the NCHM JEE exam?

NTA does not publish a fixed passing percentage in the official notice. Your total score decides the overall merit rank. NCHMCT releases category wise cut off marks after the result. Candidates who score above the cut off move to the counselling round. The cut off depends on paper difficulty, candidate count and total seats.

Q3. Can I challenge the NCHM JEE answer key? How does the objection window work?

Yes, NTA opens a challenge window for the provisional answer key. You can raise objections online within the given deadline. A nominal fee applies for each question you challenge. That fee comes back only if your challenge is accepted. NTA then reviews every objection and releases the final answer key.

Q4. I lost my application number. How do I check my NCHM JEE result?

Your application number is printed on the admit card and confirmation page. Check your registered email inbox for the NTA confirmation mail. You can also use the forgot application number option on the portal. Your registered mobile number and date of birth help recover login details. Contact the NTA helpdesk if nothing works for you.

Q5. What happens after the NCHM JEE result is declared?

Shortlisted candidates move to the centralised counselling round. Seat allotment is done online based on merit rank and choice filling. You must register on the counselling portal and pay the counselling fee. Then upload your documents and lock your preferred institutes. Finally report to the allotted IHM for verification and admission.

Q6. Is there any provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of the scorecard?

NTA does not allow re-checking or re-evaluation of the NCHM JEE scorecard. The final answer key forms the basis for result preparation. If you have a genuine grievance, write to the NTA helpdesk. Requests beyond the answer key challenge are normally not accepted.

Q7. Which documents do I need for counselling and document verification?

Carry your NCHM JEE 2026 scorecard and admit card for verification. Class 10 and 10+2 marksheets plus passing certificates are mandatory. Category, EWS or PwD certificates must come from a competent authority. Keep your photo identity proof and passport size photographs ready. Migration and transfer certificates are also asked by many institutes.

Q8. What is the exam pattern and is there negative marking in NCHM JEE?

The NCHM JEE is a computer based test with objective questions. The paper covers English, reasoning, numerical ability, general knowledge and service aptitude. Each correct answer carries marks and wrong answers attract negative marking. The exact subject wise weightage is listed in the official information brochure.
