IIT Kharagpur will conduct JAM 2027 for admission to postgraduate science programmes at various IITs. The application window opens on 12 September 2026. The last date to apply is 19 October 2026. The entrance exam is scheduled for 14 February 2027. Results will be announced on 18 March 2027. Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject. General, OBC, and EWS candidates need at least 55% marks. SC, ST, and PwD candidates need 50% marks. There is no age limit for JAM. Anyone with a valid degree can apply. The application fee for a single paper is Rs 1800 for General, OBC, and EWS. Female and reserved category candidates pay Rs 900. For two papers, the fee is Rs 2500 and Rs 1250 respectively. Selection is based on the JAM score. There is no interview. Apply online at jam.iitkgp.ac.in.
