Q1. How can I check my IERT entrance exam result if I lost my roll number?

You can recover your application number from your registered email address. The portal sends an automated confirmation email right after registration. Search your inbox for messages from iertentrance.in. You may also contact the IERT helpdesk directly. Provide your full name, father name, and date of birth. The administration team will verify your details manually. They will then share your unique application number via email. Keep this number safe for all future admission steps.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying marks for the IERT Prayagraj entrance exam 2026?

The institute does not publish a single fixed passing percentage. Qualifying marks change every year based on overall candidate performance. The total number of available seats also affects the cutoff. Category wise cutoffs differ significantly from each other. General category students usually need higher scores than reserved groups. You should check the official merit list for exact cutoff numbers. The downloadable scorecard shows your rank and obtained marks clearly.

Q3. Is there any provision for rechecking or revaluation of the IERT answer sheet?

IERT Prayagraj generally does not allow manual revaluation of answer sheets. The entrance exam uses computer based evaluation methods. This system leaves very little room for counting errors. However, you can raise a formal grievance if you find major discrepancies. Send a written request to the director office within seven days. Include your scorecard copy and admit card with the letter. The examination committee reviews such requests strictly on technical grounds only.

Q4. What happens after the IERT result declaration for shortlisted candidates?

Shortlisted candidates must participate in the official counselling process. The institute releases a separate counselling schedule on the website. You must bring all original documents for physical verification. Bring your Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets along. Category certificates must be valid and issued by competent authorities. Seat allotment depends on your merit rank and course preference. Admissions for the 2026 batch also utilize JEE Main and UPTAC scores.

Q5. Can final year appearing students apply for IERT diploma courses?

Candidates appearing in their final qualifying exams can apply provisionally. You must select the appearing option during the online form submission. However, you must pass the qualifying exam before counselling begins. Failure to produce the final passing certificate leads to immediate cancellation. The institute accepts no provisional admission without final result proof. Ensure your results declare well before the document verification deadline.

Q6. Are there any fee concessions for SC or ST candidates in the entrance exam?

All candidates pay the same examination fee for this entrance test. The fee is Rs 1350 for General, OBC, EWS, SC, and ST groups. There is no special fee exemption for reserved categories in this exam. Additional GST and bank gateway charges apply over the base amount. You must pay online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. Offline payments or demand drafts are not accepted by the portal.

Q7. Which educational boards are recognized for IERT Prayagraj admission eligibility?

The institute accepts certificates from all recognized state and central boards. UP Board, CBSE, ICSE, and other state boards are fully valid. Your Class 10 or Class 12 certificate must bear the official board seal. Private candidates with valid equivalency certificates can also apply. Ensure your previous diploma is from a government approved technical board. Unrecognized board certificates will lead to instant rejection during verification.

Q8. Where can I download the official IERT 2026 scorecard and merit list?

You can download the scorecard directly from the official entrance portal. Visit iertentrance.in and navigate to the result section. Log in using your application number and date of birth. The system generates a personalized PDF scorecard instantly. Save this file on your device and print multiple copies. The comprehensive merit list is also published on the main website.
