Q1. How can I check my DSSSB Result 2026 if I lost my roll number?

You can recover your roll number through the official OARS login portal. Visit dsssbonline.nic.in and use the forgot registration number option. Enter your registered mobile number or email address to receive your credentials. Once logged in, your scorecard will display your exact roll number along with obtained marks. You can also search your name alphabetically in the official result PDF files uploaded by the board.

Q2. What are the minimum qualifying cut off marks for the DSSSB exam?

The board sets different qualifying thresholds based on candidate categories. General category applicants must score at least 40 percent marks in the written test. OBC candidates need a minimum of 35 percent to clear the cutoff. Those belonging to SC, ST, and PH categories must obtain at least 30 percent marks. Only candidates meeting these minimum scores get included in the final merit list for further selection stages.

Q3. Is there any provision for rechecking or revaluation of DSSSB answer sheets?

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board conducts computer based tests. These objective exams are evaluated automatically by software systems. Therefore, manual rechecking or revaluation of answer sheets is generally not permitted. However, the board releases provisional answer keys before declaring final results. Candidates can raise objections against incorrect answers during the specified objection window by paying a nominal fee per question.

Q4. What happens after I qualify the DSSSB written examination?

Shortlisted candidates must first complete the online E Dossier form on the official portal. This digital dossier collects your educational and personal details for preliminary scrutiny. After successful dossier submission, the board calls qualified applicants for document verification. You must present original certificates including your degree, B.Ed, caste certificate, and photo identity proof. A medical fitness examination follows the verification stage before final appointment letters are issued.

Q5. Are teaching posts like TGT and PGT requiring any special eligibility criteria?

Yes, teaching positions demand specific professional qualifications beyond a regular degree. TGT applicants must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution. They also need to clear the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or the state level Delhi TET. PGT candidates require a Master Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50 percent marks. A B.Ed degree is equally mandatory for all Post Graduate Teacher vacancies.

Q6. Do I need to pay any fee to download my DSSSB scorecard or result?

No, the board does not charge any fee for viewing or downloading result documents. You can access the latest result PDFs completely free of cost from the official website. Checking individual marks through the OARS login portal is also entirely free. Candidates should avoid third party websites that might ask for payment to show government exam results. Always rely only on dsssb.delhi.gov.in or dsssbonline.nic.in for authentic information.

Q7. When will the remaining DSSSB 2026 results be declared?

The board publishes a tentative schedule for result declarations on its official portal. Evaluation timelines depend on the total number of candidates and exam complexity. New computer based tests are scheduled between 27 October and 05 December 2026. Results for these upcoming exams will follow after the objection window closes. You should regularly check the Latest Results tab on the DSSSB website for daily updates.

Q8. Can final year appearing students apply for DSSSB recruitment exams?

Candidates appearing in their final year examinations can usually apply provisionally. However, they must possess the final passing certificate before the document verification date. For teaching posts, the B.Ed or Master Degree must be fully completed before the cutoff date mentioned in the specific advertisement. If you fail to produce the required educational certificates during verification, your provisional selection will stand cancelled immediately without any further notice.
