The hall ticket is released exam cycle wise, not post wise. Links are live for the 01 to 20 September 2026 window and for tests held from 21 September to 24 October 2026. Q2. What should I do if I forgot my DSSSB application number?

You do not need to panic about this. DSSSB offers a second login method on the digialm page. Enter your Class 10 roll number, the passing year and your password to open the dashboard. You can also use the Find Application No. link on the official portal. Recover the number first, then download the hall ticket with it.

Q3. How much fee do I pay to download the DSSSB hall ticket?

Nothing at all. Downloading or reprinting the admit card is completely free for all categories. There is also no charge for the Exam Schedule or the PET notice. A fee applies only when you challenge an answer in the official answer key. That objection fee is paid online and is generally non refundable.

Q4. Which documents must I carry to the DSSSB exam centre?

Carry two printed copies of the admit card. One original photo ID such as Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID or Passport is also mandatory. PwD candidates should bring the disability certificate for scribe or extra time facilities. Pasted photographs on the ticket must match your face and must not be blurred or edited.

Q5. What is the DSSSB exam pattern and does negative marking apply?

The test is a Computer Based Test with objective questions. One Tier papers carry 100 questions for 100 marks and last two hours. Two Tier posts run up to 300 marks across both papers. Every wrong answer cuts one fourth of the marks given to that question. There is no negative marking on un attempted questions.

Q6. Can I change my exam centre or shift after the admit card is out?

No. Centre and shift allotment is final once the hall ticket is generated. DSSSB does not entertain requests for a change of venue, date or timing. If there is a genuine printing or data error on your ticket, contact the board helpdesk with proof. Always verify the centre address a day before the exam.

Q7. How do I raise an objection against the DSSSB answer key?

Log in to the answer key link with your application number and date of birth. Your marked responses and the official key appear side by side on the dashboard. Select the question you want to challenge and submit your supporting reason. Pay the objection fee online within the given window. Late objections after the closing date are never accepted.

Q8. What qualification is needed for DSSSB teaching posts like PRT, TGT and PGT?

PRT needs Class 12 with D.El.Ed and CTET Paper 1. TGT needs a bachelor degree in the concerned subject with B.Ed and CTET Paper 2. PGT needs a master degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed. Non teaching posts like MTS ask only for a Class 10 pass certificate from a recognised board.

Q9. What is the age limit for DSSSB posts and how is relaxation applied?

The upper age limit is usually 27 to 30 years, depending on the post. Age is counted as on the cutoff date printed in each recruitment advertisement. OBC candidates get 3 years of extra relaxation. SC and ST candidates get 5 years, while PwD candidates get 10 to 15 years. Age proof is checked at the application stage itself.
