CBSE has released the CTET September 2026 notification. This is the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. The online form ran from 11 May to 10 June 2026. It reopened again from 25 August to 1 September 2026. The exam is now set for 12 and 13 December 2026. It will be held in offline mode across 136 cities. Paper I is for classes 1 to 5. Paper II is for classes 6 to 8. Each paper runs 150 minutes and carries 150 marks. There is no age limit for CTET. General, OBC, and EWS pay Rs 1000 for one paper. SC, ST, and PH candidates pay Rs 500. The two-paper fee is Rs 1200 and Rs 600. You need 12th pass with D.El.Ed or graduation with B.Ed. Apply online at ctet.nic.in.
